The Best Inspirational Lessons From Inspire And Succeed 2019

In true Success Resources fashion, Inspire and Succeed 2019 was simply remarkable.  Attendees were treated with the presence of a number of highly accomplished and talented entrepreneurial businessmen and women from around the globe.  The event was inspiring, motivating and guided thousands of people towards achieving personal and professional growth. Amongst them, of course, was Sir Richard Branson himself. Thousands stood in the presence of this incredibly gifted and unique individual, in awe of his achievements as an entrepreneur, author, and active philanthropist, along with his innate humility that makes him so magnetic.  As Sir Richard Branson shared the story of his journey to success, many were amused by his jovial character and inspired by his bold “just do it” nature.  In the end, he left us with words of empowerment – “I enjoy every second of my life. Live life to the fullest. Push beyond your limits.”

A strong underlying theme of this years “Inspire and Succeed” event was about having the courage to step out and persevere to achieve your goals. Lisa Messenger, the radiant founder of Collective Hub and CEO of the Messenger group, speaks of the significance of purpose. The most important question you can ask yourself is “why?”. The answer is not necessarily about wealth or status;for Lisa, her purpose was to “ignite human potential”.

“Bigger is not always better. It’s not always the big that eat the small, it’s the fast that eat the slow. Know your purpose and use that purpose to drive and motivate you to think outside the box”.

Greg Secker, founder and CEO of Forex Trading, spoke on the power of belief and comments on human nature.

“All human beings will act in a way consistent with their identity. What is your perception of yourself? Do you believe that you will succeed? We listen to our own dialogue day in and day out,” he says.

“How do you speak to yourself, how do you identify? True belief leads to real action, which leads to resources leveraged, which leads to results, which in turn feeds back into positive beliefs. You must ‘stamp out negative words’”.

It wouldn’t be a Success Resources event if people were not inspired by both professional success and personal growth. Michael Crossland is not only a businessman but also a powerful motivational author and speaker. He shares his personal story of his battle with cancer as a young child and how he uses his pain to have a positive influence on others.

“Don’t spend your life complaining about the card you have been dealt,” he says. “Be grateful you are still in the game. Never be afraid to fail, fail fast and fail often, that’s how you grow.  Too often our plan B comes at a cost. I only have a plan A, I give it 110%”.

Michael’s parting message leaves us thinking about how easily we can give up and the changes we need to make today for a better tomorrow.

What a privilege to have the opportunity to learn and be encouraged by a number of inspirational leaders in the business world. I’m sure many of us were inspired to reveal our purpose and believe in ourselves as a means to drive our success.
